BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with assembling and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic assemblies.
  • Experience with electronic lab tools – oscilloscope, DMMs, programmable power supplies, etc.
  • Experience with soldering.
  • Able to read CAD models and drawings for assembling and troubleshooting.
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs.
  • Good data collection and processing.
  • Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
  • Must possess a valid US Driver’s License.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Background checks are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with contact crimping and cable assembly.
  • Be able to write script languages like Python code for automate test.
  • Matlab experience.
  • Experience using Linux System.
  • Experience with optical systems.
  • Experience with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Experience with shop tools including drilling, tapping, power tools, and equipment.
  • Knowledgeable on IPC standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for adherence to standards, processes, tools, templates, and best practices that build and sustain the AC brand.
  • Assembling of PCBAs and mechanical assemblies from 2D and 3D documentation.
  • Test platform setup and integration, including bring up, debug, calibration, alignment work for any test platforms.
  • Product tear down and potential modification.
  • Review and redline schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Defining, executing, and documenting results of tests for electrical and mechanical assemblies.
  • Lab ownership.

The salary range for this position is based on national rates. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base Salary: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00.
