The salary range for this position is based on national rates. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base Salary: $85,000 to $160,000

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSME required; MSME a plus.
- 5+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience with increasing design/project responsibility.
- 3+ years of experience designing complex automated systems as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Proficiency with general ME CAD tools: SolidWorks and/or Creo Elements Direct Modeling.
- Proficiency with generating BOM, I/O lists, and P&IDs.
- Experience in discrete automation, controls engineering, systems integration, and/or robotics.
- Flexibility and drive to deal with ambiguity and fast paced work environments.
- Up to 25% of travel may be required between locations.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Adept at generating test plans, running tests and collecting data.
- Adept at generating customer proposals.
- Good understanding of basic mechanics and machine design.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with and a desire to gain expertise in automation or product development processes from concept to production.
- Experience with and a desire to gain expertise in designing injection molded, MIM, and sheet metal parts.
